Growing up in Woodstock, and later London area, Phil spent many years of his youth working agricultural jobs – from detasseling corn, to farm hand, to livestock shipping. He attended Redeemer University for the Honours Business program, and moved into Real Estate immediately after University in 2008. Phil began building his business and joined with Ron in 2011 forming FarmOntario.
Phil’s strong interpersonal skills, marketing experience and attention to detail have earned him a number of industry awards including Top 30 under 30, Top 100 in Canada, Top 40 under 40, and Young Guns of Real Estate. He has been passionate about continuing to grow FarmOntario into an unparalleled team of Farm specialists bringing the best possible service to their clients. His “client first” approach has helped to ensure FarmOntario is the obvious choice for farmers in Southern Ontario – from large livestock and cash crop operations to family farms.
A Lifetime in Agriculture – from working on and owning a farm in Aylmer, to 15 years of feed sales across Ontario. Ron has been prepared well to serve his clients in buying and selling Farm Real Estate. Dealing with people ethically, honestly, and with respect is very important to Ron. He enjoys what he does, and the colleagues and clients that he works with. This helps to make every experience a positive one, where the right decisions are made for the right reasons. 10 years of serving Sellers and Buyers in the sales and purchases of their farms has been a very rewarding experience.

Having grown up on a farm in a little town in the northern part of the Netherlands, Arjan and his family moved to Canada in 2004 and settled on a farm in South-Western Ontario. Arjan pursued his passion for agriculture and attended the University of Guelph earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Economics. His first job after University was in the feed industry as a poultry specialist, followed by a farm manager position at a large cash crop operation in the Niagara Region.
With his outgoing personality and eagerness to help people, he decided to go back to school to get his real estate license. Arjan started his real estate career in the fall of 2014 selling residential real estate in the Woodstock area. In 2017 Arjan began working with the FarmOntario team, focusing on farm real estate. In the fall of 2020, Arjan moved the FarmOntario brand to Eastern Ontario. Based just outside of Ottawa, Arjan & his partner Chelsea have a small farm where they grow cash crops and have a herd of beef cows.
Since moving our brand to Eastern Ontario, Arjan has helped many clients buy and sell a wide variety of farms & vacant land, having sold over 2000 acres in this short time. Arjan is very dedicated to ensure his clients get the best possible results, and that there is timely & effective communication throughout the process. Theo grew up in Holland, where he attended college for Agriculture. In 1986, Theo immigrated to Canada to farm with his wife, parents and brother. He has an extensive background in dairy and poultry farming. Theo currently resides in Bayfield, Huron County, and owns a Turkey Breeding Operation in Norfolk County with his son.
After 5 years in real estate, Theo joined the FarmOntario team in 2019 to work alongside Ron, Phil and Arjan. Throughout his life, he has continually taken courses to enhance his businesses in agriculture and real estate. As an entrepreneur, Theo understands the importance of staying up-to-date with the industry. Theo is an award-winning agent, ranking in the top 100 Agents in Canada.
Theo speaks 3 languages: English, German and Dutch. This allows him to assist a wide range of buyers and sellers not only living in Ontario, but those outside of Canada looking to purchase farms as well.
Living his entire life in the heart of Huron County, Luke has agriculture embedded deep in his heart. He grew up on a hog farm near Clinton, and spent his teenage years working in dairy which included stone picking and slugging bales. Following high school, Luke started working in the feed industry and eventually purchased a farm near Londesboro. Luke’s strong desire to work alongside farmers led him to a 35 year career in feed sales that has built lifelong relationships with clients. His motto of “what is best for the client” is what naturally led to his success in feed sales. With his love for agriculture and business, Luke has worked with partners in establishing a successful feed mineral company to serve all of Ontario, upper USA, and Czechoslovakia.
With a lifetime of meeting people and building relationships Luke’s transition to farm real estate will enable him to serve clients exceptionally well. FarmOntario makes this all happen through a proven and successful marketing strategy that has built a strong Ontario wide reputation that is recognized by most agricultural stakeholders. A Champion for Rural Culture
Cory, a proud “farm kid” from St. Marys, learned the value of hard work early on. He financed much of his education by working on farms, a testament to his dedication. Rooted in his upbringing, Cory’s love for the farm community and rural lifestyle runs deep. Cory also has a strong passion for business and entrepreneurship, something that naturally weaves it’s way through the farming community.
With almost 15 years of experience selling real estate, being able to couple his passion for the farm community and rural lifestyle with his real estate expertise has allowed Cory to work in a job he loves. Cory is proud to be able to help farmers and those looking to live the country lifestyle navigate the sale of their farm or help them get out into the country and raise their family in the place they have always dreamed of. It is an honour to be able to serve so many great families in the farming community.
Originally from Niagara Falls, Rajka moved to London in 1991 and after raising her now grown children, the Forest City has remained her home. Having worked in the insurance industry for many years and most recently, the software development world, Rajka has gained valuable experience in Administration and enjoys ensuring everyone is well taken care of.
Katie spent many years of her youth hanging out on family and friend’s farms around her hometown, Tillsonburg. She attended Niagara College for Broadcasting, which grew her passion for videography, photography, and graphic design. After graduation, Katie started her own freelance videography business, and was invited to join the FarmOntario team to put her design skills and social media expertise to work.
